I received some Nepenthes seeds from BMT World seeds a few months
ago, but none of the seeds seem to
germinate. They were sown on finely
chopped long strand sphagnum moss,
watered with distilled H2O and placed
under fluorescent lights for 14 hours
a day. It's been about 9 weeks now.
I just planted some more a few weeks
ago and was wondering if there is any
special treatment that will initiate
or improve germination. I don't know
how fresh the seeds from BMT were,
but the ones I planted a couple of
weeks ago were 2 weeks old. How long
do Nepenthes seeds usually stay
viable and how long do they usually
take to germinate? I also received
Drosera Burmannii seeds from BMT
World Seeds with the same results.
Any special treatment for them?
Thanx in advance to all list members
