Subject: styrofoam containers

I'm growing Darlingtonia by the method "Susan Farrington" described
several times, with almost the same conditions as she has right down to
the box size. Early morning sun, north exposure, but with this heat wave
every morning I place a frozen 16oz. water bottle in the water in the
bottom of the container and that seems to keep the temp down about 65-68
deg for the rest of the day.
