        I've used Orthene on my Nepenthes with absolute impunity. It kills
        the pests, and the plants do not seem to be adversely affected by
        the Orthene.

        Note that I use Orthene according to the accompanying instructions.
        And I have not had the need to use it more than three times per
year,
        in my growing conditions.
