I've been backpacking in this area twice and there are some excellent
Darlingtonia viewing areas.

In the Wilderness itself, the Babyfoot lake trail and the Illinois river
trail both have Darlingtonia. The Babyfoot lake trail is long one, is very
rugged, but has several very interesting Darlingtonia viewing areas. The
Illinois river trail has only one, on York Creek.

Outside the wilderness the Siskiyou National Forest Ranger Station in Cave
Junction can tell you about a couple of very nice areas where you could view
some very impressive Darlingtonia areas which are simple to drive to.

Be forewarned, the Kalmiopsis wilderness is some of the most challenging
hiking I've ever done. It is well worth it.
