Subject: Drosera Skin Irritations

I was interested to read on
http://bodd.cf.ac.uk/BotDermFolder/BotDermD/DROS.html about various Drosera:

"These species have been reported to contain plumbagin, a naphthoquinone
which produces vesication on skin contact (Thomson 1971)."

In English, this means: These species have been reported to contain
plumbagin, a blood clotting agent which produces blistering on skin contact
(Thomson 1971).

Has anyone had any experience of this?

Paul.
