Dear All
The so-called "Styropor" or 'Isolite' as it used to be called back
in the late Seventies through early Eighties is manufactured in
most states in this country as well as one place in New Zealand and
is sold, here, under the proprietary name of "Bag-o-Beans".
Here the prilling is on average 4-8mms. in diameter; though you do
of course get the odd star attraction now and again as you go
through a 500gram /100 Litre bag.
The current price here is $9.95 (~Ten Dollars!)
The package I've retained mentions that the product is CFCs-free
though mentions nothing about potential complications such as
plasticizers & fillers such as PolyTetraPhthalates or PTPs which
are known to be injurious to such industry standards as the
Lettuce. *WinK* (Hi Steve!)
I have a JPEG for all and any with the desire to see a pic..
Anyway Hope this Helps,
DAVION
