Can someone tell me what the odor in my new 10 gallon tanks is
caused by? More importantly, even though I've washed them out, the
odor still lingers. Since I grow many of my plants in sealed these
terraria, does anyone know if whatever is causing this odor can harm
my CP??

I assume you mean really new tank?
Could well be the vapours from the sealant holding the glass into the
frame.Usually Dow-Corning silicone sealant.
