Full view of entire plant (1st year)

Byblis gigantea TYPE from seed collected just south of Perth, Western Australia. Plant is seen here about 7 months old in early summer growth. Temperature about 75-90 degrees day, 65-70 night. Growing in sand/perlite/peat which is dry at surface but moist below (watered from tray but not standing in water.) This form is generally smaller than the northern forms from "Cataby" and "Eneabba" and with smaller flowers. It's glands are, however, more closely spaced.
