Nepenthes veitchii (highland form) from Sarawak (Photographs taken near Bareo). The species occurs in two forms, a highland form which is a climber and a lowland form which almost exclusively grows as an epiphyte often near rivers on overhanging trees. The highland form does not climb with the help of the pitcher bearing tendrils like most other Nepenthes but by clinging its leaves around a tree. The leaves are arranged characteristically in two rows.
