I cultivate 2 types of Pinguicula emarginata this one I would call the type-form. The other clone differs in flower colour (white colour with fine, pale purple nerves) and leaf colour (dark red leaves). I cultivate these species in pure peat and I keep the soil the whole year humid in winter to wet in summer. This species flowers the whole year long and there exists only one leaf form (tropical homophyllous growth type)
