The picture shows rather typical specimens of Sarracenia alata (note the broad lids and the yellow flowers on short scapes!) in W Alabama. In this habitat, which is exceptionally well managed, the plants are abundant. It is one of the most impressive Sarracenia bogs I have seen so far. S. leucophylla and S. psittacina are likewise well represented, and all possible hybrids can be found within minutes.
