This is the world's rarest Sarracenia subspecies, here in an endangered situation due to lack of natural or prescribed fire. The site - close to the supposedly destroyed type locality of this subspecies - is heavily overgrown by shrubs and Smilax that will eventually outcompete all pitcher plants. Sarracenia rubra jonesii is accompanied here by S. purpurea var. montana. The photo shows Plants with pitchers and flowers in moist soil at the border of an overgrown bog.
