Hi Nathan,
Good luck on your U. volubilis. Note that it is an affixed aquatic. Once
you get it established, raise the water table a bit so the plant is always
under about 1cm of water. Then it will be very happy. It reproduces by
sending horizontal stolons several cm which then pop up as a new plant.
But it is by no means weedy. Watch it carefully. Leaf cuttings work, but
this is not easy to do since the leaves are perhaps 1 cm or so long, and
are threadlike. Keep me posted on this, I'd like to hear your progress.
