Subject: Artificial LIGHT, Ultraviolet and plexiglass / glass

They taught me in engineering school that glass blocks UV. Heat from
inside the greenhouse (from sun shining on benches, pots, etc.) stays
inside. Of course as far as conduction of heat goes, you might as well
have a hole in the wall as glass.
