Bryan,

I don't know a lot about stamps, but I do know that there is a set of CP
stamps from Laos. I just purchased a set but it has not yet arrived. I
will post more information when I receive it.

Also, Newfoundland one cent coins of the past used to have S. pupurea on
the back side of the coin. I have one; it is dated 1943.

I'll post more info when I can (if I find out anything).
