Hi, It seems getting confused but Myrmecophyla (it could be Mirmecophyla or
something like that) is closely related to Schomburgkia as I wrote in my
previous message. Some consider as the same. You can look at Carl Withner's
book on Laelinae. It is not a fern. 'Myrme' part mean ants as in Myrmedon
(myrmidon?). There is an interesting Greek story about this, but probably
not appropraite for the CP newsgroup.If you are familiar with Iliad
(misspell again?), you should know who Myrmedons are.
