Subject: VFTs, Pitchers, and Sundews

Greetings. I hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer. I have
some questions I was wondering someone might be able to help me out. A
while back I had written about my VFTs' traps not shutting. I'm still
having the same problems and they are now not looking to healthy. I've
separated the VFTs and transplanted them. Even the new traps that have
grown will not shut. HELP!
The Pitcher plants are looking fine. I cannot remember the species
name off the top of my head (I'm new to CP), but it is the "typical"
pitcher plant that has purple pitchers has sent up a flower stock. The
flower stock is looking great, but it looks like the pitchers are dying
off. Should I be concerned?
I'm also interested in getting some sundews. I live in Ohio and
wonder the best place to get some?
I'm trying to get a variety of CP to show to my science students
next fall. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Dwight Souder
