The ones I had were blood red & about 1/16" across, though I pruned
my tree on Sunday & saw some very similar things more like 3/16" on
one of the branches. (The tree's not sick, it was just spreading
outwards rapidly & cutting off the light to my CP's.)

Ah. Good to know. I found some pictures of those on a UC Davis page
linked from the FAQ. Not what was on my plant.

I am now quite sure I don't have spider mites, as there were no webs,
the bugs were easily visible, & I'm having fungus problems. (Rather,
some of my plants are!)
