Trichoderma is a genus of fungi that parasitize (spell?) other fungi which
includes plant pathogens. Some claims that it can be effectively used for
control of plant diseases caused by fungi. Unfortunately, just like many
other 'bio control,' the result is not quite often replicable. Of course it
does not mean it won't work. However, you can isolate this fungus easily,
and I assume it is everywhere. Some strains of a species can be a serious
pest for mashrooms.
