Subject: Re: Sarracenia phyllodia, well water

Someone asked a while back about S. not producing pitchers. My flava
and leuc new to the bog this year are just beginning to form traps on
what I thought were phyllodia.
Dan, have you had your well water tested? I have been using and
hoarding rainwater (sorry) but will soon be reduced to worrying about
the depth of the well. We are on granite and slate here, the water
having a sulfur or magnesium smell when the water table is low.
Thanks,
Wayne Morrow
