I don't know about other's experiences with this species of
Drosera, but here on the Oregon coast, it not only thrives
well in my unheated greenhouse over the winter (low temps
down to 28 degrees F. outside..few degrees warmer inside
the greenhouse), but has become a weed problem at times
when seeds of it land in pots full of D. intermedia, D. anglica
or D. rotundifolia and since it resembles all of the above at
different stages of growth, you can't really weed it out until
it flowers, or winter when the other species produce winter
buds, thus exposing the 'imposter' which doesn't form these
during their dormant period...It just sort of 'stops growing'
until spring. Growing conditions identical for D. capensis I'd
have to say. Hope this is of some help.

Best Wishes,

Doug
