Subject: D. madagascariensis with two stems

Hi,

I wonder if it's normal for D. madagascariensis to grow two stems? My
plant started to produce a second stem, when the first one began to lean
to the side.

BTW, the plant in question originates from seed acquired from A. Lowrie
and was called D. madagascariensis 'short stem, large green leaves' near
Pretoria. I also have the madagascariensis major near Pretoria, but they
are to small at this time to compare growing patterns.

Regards,
