Joe,

Are you interested in getting specimens to try to grow different species
of Sphagnum? Or are you simply interested in obtaining a big bag of it
to use as a potting media?

If your interest is the former, you have entered the twilight zone of
"sphagnumology". For a fascinating tour, check out

Which species of Sphagnum is best for CP? According to Eva Maria Temsch,
Sphagnum cuspidatum and S. subnitens may grow more than 40 cm during the
summer while S. rubellum may grow barely 4 cm.
