Hello Miguel,

on my opinion seed of P. lusitanica does not need any
stratification to germinate. I have sown several times seed
directly after the ripening of the seed pots and all the time
germination rate was very high. Even with seed I kept for years
(stored in a warm appartment) germination was still ok. But it can
happen that certain conditons (temperature, humidity, fungus
infection) provoke that the fertility of the seed is decreasing very
soon.
