Hello all.

Jan: I dissected a slightly crumpled and closed flower of
"D. coccicaulis." I made the following observations.

Stamens 5; filament white; anthers and pollen yellow.
Ovary green and globose
Styles 3, proximally bifurcated into two branches, white; stigma
purple-lilac, bifurcated into two pointed tips.

Opening the ovary revealed many immature seeds which looked spindle
shaped.

The inflorescence show a conspicuous degree of inflection, so it
leaves the rosette center laterally, then bends sharply to the vertical.

Since the scape is slightly aberrant, I didn't take time to note the
indumentum.

I hope this helps.
