Last week we finished another project, so now we have enough place in
the sterile growth chambers to really start the Drosera thing.
So here comes my request: we would greatly appreciate if anyone of you
who hase spare seed material (perhaps one little plant, too?????) could
mail it to us-the more different D. species, the better representative
our work will be! Unfortunately we can't offer you anything but seeds
of D. rotundifolia & D. hilaris, perhaps also plants of D. capensis
'Narrow Leaf' and D. capensis 'Mary Goes Round' as well as plants of the
above mentio- ned 2 species. In vitro we also have D. binata and very
few plantlets of D. pygmea, but these two need to be further multiplied
before we undergo the risk of acclimatizing them.
Please let me know if you could make a present to science...but please don't
answer before Tue. 16th as the main machine of our node (AWIUNI11) is to
be turned off on Monday 15. As I start into a week of holidays I won't be
able to go through the e-mails before Monday 22th.
Thanxs in advance, greetings from Austria
Chris
