If it's happening to the Drosera, I'd say aphids, or some other
sap-sucking nasty.

If it had of been your pings, I'd guess fungus-gnat maggots.

Often when my pings start to decline, I do a biopsy to find little
worms (2-4mm long) eating up the roots.

I usually cure the problem with Diazinon and repotting into pure
vermiculite. (Pure peat is the worst).
