My mind is going. Did I send you this already? Sorry if yes....
***************

Hey, what's happening in collections out there? I came back to
my greenhouse to discover that my _U.alpina_ is flowering---big white
and yellow fragrant flowers, the largest I've ever seen on a Utric.
Also my orchid _Epidendron radicans_ is flowering. If I've sent any of
you this plant, prepare yourselves for when it flowers---very pretty!
Unfortunately I missed my orchid _Bletia purpurea_ and _Utricularia praelonga_
in flower.

Some Utrics I received just before I left are doing great. _U. aureomaculata_
is leafing vigorously, _U.biloba_ and _U.nana_ are preparing to flower,
as are some clones of _U.delicatula_ and new plants of _U.livida_

Don, the putative _D.madagascariensis_ you sent me is flowering and
apparently fits Jan's description of _D.collinsae_. Any thoughts? Also my
_P.kondoi/P.reticulata_ plant is going to flower.

Jan, I have a plant that Rob Maharajh sent to me. It is _D.cuneifolia var.
undulata_. It is getting bigger, and it looks just like the other
_D.cuneifolia_. Do you know what is the difference, what is supposed to
undulate?

Oh, I have for some time grown some _D.capillaris_ that I've called
_D. capillaris_ `Bridgett Ann' (in the interest of romance, but as Jan would
point out---quite invalidly). I selected this plant back when I thought most
_D.capillaris_ were pink flowered. This plant is white flowered and a
vigorous grower. It turns out that a huge number of _D.capillaris_ are
white flowered in the wild, and so I'm relegating this plant to plain old
``_D.capillaris_---white flower'' I suggest that if you grow ``Bridgett
Ann'' plants you do the same. Jan, I am now completely reformed and obey
nomenclatural practices in all my plants now.
