My D. brevifolia plants are flowering. Boy are they small. I
mean, smaller than most pygmy drosera. I've read rumour that
there are several sized forms of this plant. I must have the
small form as I expected them to be about an inch in diameter.
Mine are at most 1/2". I'm not sure if the flowering is
premature, or if this is it. So far each scape just seems to
have one flower. Since this plant is supposedly an annual I
hope I get seed. I wonder if I cut the flowers off if the plant
will be a perennial? Maybe the plants just flower themselves
away to nothing? What makes an annual an annual anyhow?
