Many of the commercial systems offer internet access. The one big exception
is Prodigy. I used GEnie for a while. It was the cheapest one around.
But a local Internet service (BBS) is even better. They can offer Usenet
too. I am SURE there must be several to choose from in LA (Gordon's
habitat).
