Not for Blue-tongues and a few other species (including 1 Victorian gecko species - yay!). There are then three groups of species which require permits with varying costs involved. Blue-tongues are common & cheap here, but I prefer something smaller (and more exotic!). It takes some getting used to picking up blue-tongues - their bluff is very convincing!
