My name is John David Adamski from Ann Arbor, MI. I am a member of ICPS and
have been interested in growing CP most of my life (I'm 31). I currently live
in a apartment and have one Dionaea growing is a pot, which did every well this
summer outside. Michigan finally had a ssummer this year. I also have a
terrarium with one Sarracenia purpurea and one Sarracenia that I'm not sure of,
it's all red and smaller than my purpurea. A interesting thing about the red
one is the pitchers only grow to one side forming a half circle pattern.

Have been trying to start some Darlingtonia californica from seed with no luck,
the last 1/4 of the seed package I just sowed. Will have to see if anything
grows this time.

Beyond reading a few books and the ICPS's newsletter, my knowledge of CP is
small. I have killed more CP then I can count, I feel these CP are more
sensitive than Orchids to grow. I like the challange, but hate that the CP
have to die while I learn.

Once I'm lucky enough to get a house I hope to have a small green house to grow
CP and start plants for a garden. Until then I will stick with my terrarium.
