Drosera

After reading the previous postings on the proper plural form of
_Drosera_ I realize I've been using the incorrect form in m;y
postings. I'm not a taxonomist. I have studied Latin, and I
assumed that the word drosera was a first declension noun therefore
the plural would be droserae. It seems that it is a fifth declension
noun, since the plural is asserted to be drosera.
Anyway, I was never sure if the naming of botanical specimens
followed strict Latin usage. Thanks for pointing out my error.
