Michael,
Who is Dr. Pinkava?
For protologues, it is very common to declinate Latin names according to
Latin grammar rules, whereas the type in which the names are set is the same
as the one for the proposed new taxon.
Thus, I would say, for the sake of consequence, it is correct to say
_Droserae_, _Pinguiculae_, _Dionaeae_, _Drosophylla_, _Cephaloti_ (I hope
that _Cephalotus_ is not u-declination), _Byblides_, _Nepenthes_, etc. if
you mean the plural form.
For subdivisions of genera or families, you may use normal type, i.e.
_Drosera_ ser. Droserae, because these are not binomials in the sense of
species names (OK, I admit this is not purist style, but we are dealing with
electronic communication and not scientific publications).
Kind regards
Jan
