Jan, Dr. Donald J. Pinkava is a taxonomist at Arizona State University.
He specializes in Cactaceae (Opuntia), Asteraceae (Southwest) and
cytogenetics. He was my major advisor when I worked on my Master's
degree on the biosystematics of the _Echinocactus polycephalus_
complex.
