This was your text, originally, not mine!

>Is this a Jan Schlauer rumination, or accepted botanical dogma?

And I thought you already accepted the two (my rumination/botanical dogma)
to be the same...8-)
1. Which conditions should rumination fulfill to be called a dogma?
2. Which conditions should a dogma fulfill to be accepted?
On the other hand, you can bet your socks if there is any dogma and I have
evidence against it, I will keep ruminating and won't accept it, anyway.

Now back to cp:
3. If you accept some expertise in the case of Casper (if you don't like to
rely on mine), you still can take the _Pinguicula_ "flower stalk" to be the
pedicel.

4.a) Casper believes bracts to be suppressed in _P._.
b) I believe these bracts are leaf-like and part of the rosette.

5. Probably, neither (4.a / b) is at the state of dogma, yet.
6. Perhaps, 3. is so.
5. & 6. depend on 1. & 2.

Kind regards
Jan
