I just scrape (technical term) the pollen off the umbrella with a scrap
of paper (another technical term) and stick it in the frig in a paper
tube. Usually the pollen has just been shed, so it is fairly moist.
This sometimes works, but then again it takes a year to see how well it
turned out. - The things sometimes seem to self on me while my back is
turned. How do you avoid selfing or unwanted crosses?
