Do squrrels eat VFTS?

Lately I've had a resurgence of animal problems. Whatever
it is has bypassed my pungi-stick-sharp wire "fence" around
my outdoor plants and dug up several sarracenia stands. So
far I haven't found out what it is, but I strongly suspect
a squirrel. Soon I will have live animal trap, but in the
meantime I'm wondering this:

Does anyone know if Dionea or Sarracenia taste bad
to animals? Because although my plants have been
dug up, so far I don't think any have been eaten.
