Stale seed

Hmm. I updated my records last night, since I was playing with my
_Sarracenia_ yesterday, and saw something interesting. I noticed that of
my 25 or so pots of new _Sarracenia_ seed, they had all germinated except
for seven pots. Two of these were of seed that were at least a few years
old (Matt, that purp. purp Vermont hasn't germinated yet). The remaining
five pots were of seed I got from Allen Lowrie. So of five packets of
_Sarracenia_ seed from him, none have yet to germinate, while all the
other fresh seed I planted have. I don't think I'll get any more
_Sarracenia_ seed from him.
