Well, such assumptions may not be correct. I'll assume the
parenthesized ones are the ones I named, so I'd have to say, no, I
don't know about the others. I remember learning of about 5-6
different types of carnivorous plants in junior high, and you named
more than that, so I bet there're definitely some new ones in there.
I think I'll have to get a book (other than an encyclopedia) and start
reading up on it...
Pinguicula; that's a good name. Puts me in mind of a cross between
small, flightless birds and flying, bloodsucking mammals :-). A
totally confused animal. Should it fly, or shouldn't it? It usually
can't decide. "What's that swimming through the water, sucking the
life out of fish!?"
"Oh no, it's--Pinguicula!"
Well, like I said, I'll mostly be keeping my ears open.
