Alright if were going to beat this thread, we might as well beat it to
death....

Yes, VFT's have some of the same enzymes (protiens) as humans. For
instance the protiens responsible for replicating DNA are the same. And
since we are talking carnivorous plants the digestive enzymes are probably
quite similar to our own.
