The only thing I see as troublesome would be people who don't have
access to a PC or Mac with a color monitor. They could be scanned in as
either a gif or a jpeg and is readable on either Mac or PC. That and
getting it scanned in in the first place. Our university has several
scanners that the students have access to, not to mention the local Kinko's
(a large chain of photocopy stores that also do stuff like scanning) store
can do it for a buck or two. Surely someone has access to a scanner and the
charity to do it.
