Being a Michigan resident I can afford to leave few CP outside during our
winters. For the past several winters I've just kept the plants in the
terrarium for the winter. Obviously this is not the best proceedure for
temperate species. This winter I'm trying something different. I've placed
several aquairum tanks in my basement (most dwellings have basements here) and
put some shop light fixtures on a timer down there. I figure that if I keep the
plants away from the heating unit and near the wall, it will be cold enough
without getting too cold. I guess the results will be seen next spring.
BTW, ever broken your nose before? Just did it a couple of hours ago and it
kind of hurts!
