The same did I when I grew Sarracenis from Seeds a few years ago.
I just sowed them on wet peat and placed the pot into a plastic bag
which I placed in the fridge at 4 degrees Celsius for 6 weeks. I had
very good germination with this treatment. I never let the seeds
freeze and I think it is not necessary.
