I store my CP seed in my refrigorator at about 5 degrees. When I collect
them, they are allowed to dry out throughly on paper ( be careful about
draughts though, I lost a heap of seed when my parakeet flew over the paper
they were drying on! ), and then remove any other pieces of plant material
such as dead flowers etc. Place them in paper bags (I use sealable
envelopes)
put them into a suitable container, and put them in the fridge.
