LD50=Lethal Dose at which 50% of the subjects die... usually mice. LD50 for
nicotine is somwhere around 59ppm. Very Toxic Stuff. If one were to dose
the plants with Tobacco Juice.(Yick) One might just end up with dead animals
in the bog as well as killing off all the good critters. (Lady Bugs, and the
like.)
Some one has already pointed out the danger to tomatoes, potatoes and the
like, so I won't get into that.
