I have a "bog" garden consisting of a 24 inch long, self watering
pot. I have 2 D. Capemnsis and 2 VFT. The soil has algae on it.
I recently noticed that ants are crawling in the and around the
soil and I was wondering if they can do harm to my plants like
for example tunneling under the plants and eating the roots?
They are not eatin the bugs off the D. Capensis because none of
the ants are being caught and I take away all the flys that the
traps catch. so I no idea what they could be after, unless the springtails
are like aphids and serete a liquid which the ants like. Any
suggestions on what to do!!!!!?
Thanks in advance.
