In response to you, and you know I hate to argue. but I know of at least one
case where the TNC attempted to obtain a chunk of land and when the owner was
not interested they attempted to get the property condemned. so they could
take it over. they even wanted to use his house as an interpretive center .I
do not know the final outcome of this battle, but the owner in question is a
good friend of mine in West Texas and I rather trust his word. by now things
may have settled down but I know for awhile there was quite a problem. hope
all's well.
