Perth trip :(

Hi folks, I've just got back from the 2 weeks in Perth and SW
Western Australia I told you about a few weeks ago. I had hoped to
tell you all about lots of cps I'd seen but I think I've either not
got cp vision, or they're all dormant now or I didn't go to the
right places :( I saw one clump of spatulatha type droseras growing
in dry gravel which had recently been burnt over. The only
cephalotus I saw were in cultivation. Lots of nice birds and aussie
sunshine though.. :)
The moral is: check before you go, or go with
someone who knows what they're doing.
And to cap it all off, the neighbours had let my sarrs and vfts and
droseras dry out :( To rescue them I've refilled their trays by
watering from above. Any other tips on how to rescue dried out
sarrs, vft and d. capensis and binata? Or is patience the best bet??
