Paul,
try to use Algil, which will kill algae and Aldrovanda will survive,
even she will be healthy. I'm not sure, that Algil'll be in your
shop, it's of czech origin , but you can use something like this
from aqua-tera /pet/ shop . My friend told me, it works well.
Algil is antialgae powder.
